Finding Your Balance: Understanding Dizziness, Balance, and Confidence in Movement

Have you ever felt dizzy when getting out of bed, rolling over, or sitting up in the morning?
Have you tripped or lost your balance recently — or stopped doing something you love because you’re afraid of falling?

If so, you’re not alone. Millions of adults experience dizziness, vertigo, or instability every year. But the good news is — these symptoms are often treatable and preventable with the right awareness and exercises.

Join Us for an Educational Evening

Integra Direct Primary Care invites you to a special educational program, presented by Ashley Mwongela, PT of Saco Bay Physical Therapy. Ashley is a physical therapist who specializes in balance and vestibular rehabilitation, and she’ll share practical tools to help you regain confidence and improve safety in your daily activities.

You’ll learn:
✅ How your body’s balance systems (inner ear, vision, and proprioception) work together
✅ Why dizziness or vertigo can occur — and what’s really happening when “the world spins”
✅ How to identify changes in your balance early
✅ Simple strategies and exercises to maintain stability and prevent falls
